Sustainable procurement

As part of a long value chain, our continued responsible business conduct depends highly on our suppliers' approach. That is why the expectation to respect human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption is reflected on an operational level as a significant part of our Supplier Code of Conduct and hence our requirements for all our suppliers.

All our suppliers have since 2009 been held responsible for meeting the requirements of this Code of Conduct. You can read the Code of Conduct here, where you also will find our politics and annual non-financial reports.

As part of our general work for responsible sourcing, we use Supplier Questionnaires to assess all our suppliers. Based on the supplier's response to this questionnaire and based on our overall risk assessment of the individual supplier, which is reviewed at least annually, we continuously select a number of suppliers we conduct audit at. These audits verify that quality, environmental and social conditions comply with Toms Group Standards.

What about the other parts of Toms' corporate responsibility?

On this page we have described how we work to live up to our responsibilities at one point along our value chain. Read here about our overall approach to our corporate responsibility and how we work for responsibility in other areas of our business as well.
